Install
Nembrix ships as a native desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux. You can also run the web build for fast iteration.
Desktop
Section titled “Desktop”Download the latest .dmg from
Releases, open it,
drag the app into Applications.
Signed & notarized builds open normally. If you grabbed a build that predates signing (or an unsigned nightly), macOS may ask you to confirm the developer on first launch — right-click the app → Open.
Download the .msi installer (or the .exe setup) from
Releases and run it.
Windows builds are not code-signed yet, so on first run Microsoft Defender SmartScreen shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” dialog. This is expected — click More info → Run anyway to install. (Signing is on the roadmap; until then the installer is unsigned but the download itself is the one built by our CI.)

Section titled “What you need”- A Postgres server you can reach (locally or over SSH).
- For SSH tunnels: ssh-agent set up, or a key file you can point us at.
- Nothing else. There’s no required cloud account, no telemetry by default, no daemon.
